The light from the setting sun was downright surreal on this
afternoon in early spring. The plowed dirt field, new spring grass, glowing
foliage, and dark backdrop made an unbeatable combination for photographing.
This image is burned into my memory as typical of spring in the Southern
Appalachians. Snow graced the mountaintops; temperatures were in the low 40's this day.
