Ladders carry hikers around some of the more gnarly rock features on the Mountains to Sea Trail just north of Lane Pinnacle. The knob of rock in the background makes a great overlook of the Bee Tree Creek valley and Swannanoa Mountains, if you use common sense and stay back from the edge.
