The Green Knob trail at the summit of Green Knob. Behind this point the trail descends to the Blue Ridge Parkway near the Green Knob overlook. Ahead the trail descends to the South Toe trailhead across from the Black Mountain Campground. To the left is the spur trail to the fire tower.
