Shining Rock Gap looking north from the Art Loeb trail. Straight ahead, the Old Butt Knob trail continues up past Shining Rock itself and then down the mountain. Slightly left and then straight ahead is the continuation of the Art Loeb Trail. A lard left is the Ivestor Gap trail, which loops back south to Ivestor Gap.
